The Summer of Sleepers

Brisby jumps into some snugly sleepers just in time for the hot hot heat!

Bathtime for Brisby

When I first imagined giving Brisby a bath, I conjured up ideas that we'd take a cute little video of a smiling baby, splashing the water, her eyes full of the joy of discovery.

So when the time actually came, we purchased a baby tub, and filled it halfway, checking the temperature so that was just right.  But the moment her little bottom touched the water's edge, as far as she was concerned, we may as well have dipped her into a vat full of worms.  She spent the entire time squalling, as we rushed to clean her as best we could.  After a few minutes of this torture, she emerged, slippery and shivering.  We dried her off, but it would be sometime before she calmed down.

My point is, not every milestone needs to be documented.
